How to manifest a new job without quitting your current one

How's the day going? I deeply hope you are shining your light and doing what you love, wherever you are in the world. :)

Today's topic is something soo many people struggle with: what to do when you hate your job but you're afraid to quit.

There are so many people waking up already tired, dreading going to work, counting down the hours until the weekend... or until 6pm... and my heart just goes out to them. Probably because I was once there myself (you can read my full story here).

They believe there's no way out, but there IS!! And that is exactly what I want to talk about today.

Ready? Let's dive in!

WHEN QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION

I get it. I've been there. And it's not a great place to be. 

You feel trapped: a part of you wants to walk away and never look back... but you also can't. Maybe you need the money, maybe you don't want to go back to being unemployed, or maybe your current job gives you a certain sense of security. Whatever the reason, quitting simply isn't an option right now.

So you might be thinking: "Am I supposed to live like this forever? Waking up with dread every morning, feeling stressed every Sunday night, hating every second of my job?"

Absolutely NOT!! You're here to live life on your terms. To shine your light, share your unique gifts and talents with the world, and live a truly abundant life.

So, if quitting isn't possible right now, that's okay. You can stay in your current job while you manifest a new one. Let me show you how.

A CLEAR VISION

First and foremost, you need to get crystal clear on what you actually want. What would your dream job look like? What type of job would make you truly happy? And just as important, how would you like to feel every day?

Maybe you want to start your own business, become a teacher, work remotely, or simply feel free and at peace. It's totally up to you. This is YOUR dream, you get to choose what makes you happy. But be specific.

ALIGNED MINDSET

Now... there is something else we need to talk about: mindset.

Here's the thing: the person who's already doing what they love, feeling alive and fulfilled, making as much money as they want, doesn't think or feel the way you currently do. Right? 

They probably wake up feeling excited, grateful, in love with life and at peace, thinking things like "I love my life", "I am so lucky I get to do this", and so on.

Meanwhile, you might be waking up feeling tired, stressed, drained, thinking: "I hate my job. I don't want to go to work. I feel so stuck."

See the difference?

If you want to manifest a new job, you have to start thinking and feeling as the person who already has it. At all times. NO MATTER WHAT. Yes, even in your current job.

"You need to become the version of you who already has what you want by thinking, feeling and acting the way they would"

But first, you need to become aware of what's going on in you inner world right now. So ask yourself:

➤ What thoughts am I repeating over and over again that I wouldn't be thinking if I were living my dream life?

➤ What emotions do I feel often that I wouldn't be feeling if I were living the life I truly want?

Write it all down. No judgement, just honesty and vulnerability. The goal is to bring to light what's holding you back so you can change it. These patterns are literally keeping you stuck in situations you don't want. So let's rewire them, one by one!

A little experiment...

I invite you to try something: for the next 7 days, become a gentle observer of your thoughts and emotions

For one week, pay attention to what's going on in your mind, specially during moments when you feel triggered or low. Don't judge, just observe with love.

Maybe you notice thoughts like: "I'm so stuck", "I don't want to work today", "this is not the life I want". Whatever it is, write everything down.

Once you've gathered some of your most common limiting thoughts, pick 3 or 4 of them, and FLIP them! Create new, empowering thoughts that reflect the version of you who already has what you want. 

It can be something as simple as: "I love my life and I feel so blessed", or "Thank you, thank you, thank you". These thoughts should bring you into the emotions you want to feel, the ones you described earlier when you defined your vision.

THE WORK

Action time! You already have your vision. You know what you want. You know how you want to feel. You know which thoughts and feelings you need to embody, and which ones you need to let go of. Yay! You've come so far!

Now it's time to start living from your new reality, right now.  That means thinking and feeling as if what you want is already yours, in every moment. No matter what. 

I'll say that again: no matter what. You need to go BEYOND your current reality. Fake it until you make it, if you will. :)

Here's one of my favorite hacks: music. 

Whatever emotion or outcome I'm manifesting, I choose a specific song (or honestly, the song always finds me! lol), and I play it all the time, specially when things get tough, when I feel triggered or when my energy drops. It's my instant reset back into my future emotions.

"Feeling is the real secret to manifesting anything you desire"

You can do the same. Play it at work. On your way to the office. After a stressful meeting. After a tight deadline. Any time you catch yourself slipping back into your old feelings or thoughts (you now know which ones they are), just press play and shift your energy.

Get creative and find what works for you. The goal is to train yourself to move out of states like sadness, stress, anger, frustration,... and into higher states like love, gratitude, peace, freedom, joy,.. 

♥︎ And hey! Please don't beat yourself up if you catch yourself feeling low, overwhelmed, or thinking "I hate my job". That's okay. It's all part of the process. Awareness is already a huge win!  

Let those thoughts and emotions rise. Observe them. And release them. Then, gently, shift back into your future self. Again and again. 

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

Here's something important I want you to remember: when you change your energy, your external reality tends to start shifting as well. 😬

"When you change your energy, you change your life"

So don't be surprised if a new opportunity suddenly appears, if you're moved to a different department, or even if you get laid off (yes, really!).

Whatever happens, don't panic! It's simply your new reality aligning with your new energy. Keep embodying those future emotions, no matter what.

You might not be able to quit your job today, but you can certainly start creating the reality you want right now. And the more you practice living and feeling from your desired reality, the faster it will show up in your physical world.

You're a powerful creator. Never forget that.
